Okay, so seeing that I haven’t posted in quite some time..i’ll just get straight to the point!

P 4 and 6: DUE TOMORROW!

P.1, 3, AND 5: DUE FRIDAY!

The EA entails a persuasive speech on any contemporary topic that you can take a stance on. It must be double-spaced, minimum of two pages, 12 pt font, times new roman, and don’t forget your thesis, including a stance, support, and of course, RHETORICAL DEVICES AND EXTENSIVE USE OF DICTION AND SYNTAX. The printed copy of your essay is worth a TEST GRADE. Your presentations must be memorized, approximately two minutes long, you may use index cards, and this will be worth a nice classwork grade!

Don’t forget to also work on your fun homelearning grades.

What does this include? paper and creativity!!! Fold it into a brochure or science project style fold, include a picture (appropriate pictures only) of yourself in the center, personality and character traits of yourself around it, on the left flat five prospective college or universities you are interested and on the right flap five career choices. MAKE IT POP!!!!!

the news!

Hello my dear students,

I hope everyone had a beautiful thanksgiving. I’ve had a very difficult weekend and I will update you all tomorrow, Monday, November 26th.

Unfortunately, I was unable to get to a computer up until now.

Please come in to class tomorrow ready to discuss the HL assigned to you last week. You should have viewed  and taken notes on three different News Sources including, but not limited to, newspaper, television, internet, blogs, radio, etc.

This week we will be advancing rather quickly through the next few activities and must cover as much as possible.

I am sorry but due to the unfortunate events of this weekend, I was unable to grade all of your past work. If you, or your parents, have any concerns about your current grades, please feel free to Email me.

I will be working on your grades (as much as I can) during the course of the day, and throughout this week.

Please bare with me.

Also, I will be updating my wish list shortly…

Have a beautiful day and see you soon.
